Xbox 360 wireless adaptor?

I'm thinkin bout gettin a wireless adaptor from amazon.com. They seem to be sellin it for a reasonable price of 70 bucks then wal mart and bestbuy sellin it for 100 dollars but what are some pro and cons wit this? I have a linksys wireless for my laptop internet so would it work for linksys? Also my linksys is in the livin room and my xbox is in my room in the next room it should be able to pick up the signal right?? My linksys is said to pick up signal 1000 ft away. And will it be easy to set up??
