Ugh, with little girls do the meltdowns get worse as they get older?

Our 2 older boys never had meltdowns nor threw tantrums ... they were & still are pretty chill about stuff when it does not go their way. Well our daughter on the other hand is a trip... she is a good girl but is let one of her bros aggravate her or accidentally bump her while playing, or mess up her hair & she flies off the handle. Don't get me wrong, she is *not* the kids pitching a fit in the store for some candy, but she whines relentlessly at home in behind her bros, no matter what. They just ignore it half the time & call her drama, which makes it worse, but anyway... she is almost 5 & while she acts very mature for her age most of the time the meltdowns are seeming to get worse... do I have any hope of it tapering off, maybe when she gets in school????
