Could i be pregnant even though im on the pill?

I finished my pill on wednesday 1st april usually i have my period within 3 days its now tuesday 7th april and still no sign of it although i have some mild cramping i feel like im never going to get my period. Am just wondering has anyone ever had this problem?? i'm usually like clockwork with my cycle
