A matter of life and death?

I know from life tables that a group of people born in 1947 had a life expectancy at birth of 68 years. Those survivors, now aged 60, have a life expectancy of 16 years, that is they should make 76. From these figures, can I calculate what percentage of my original group, as an average, are still alive?
