Does anyone think the 3D movie age will fall someday?

I know Avatar was awesome, and I saw it in 3D. Even better, a truly bad azz experience. But I only think other movies should be in 3D if there epic, and record breaking like Avatar, or better. Do you think there overdoing it now?
