Any suggestions on how to help your child handle verbal bullying?

The best thing he can do is look her in the face and say, "You bore me." and ignore her. Let him know that she will, at first, try harder to get him riled up. If he keeps ignoring her, she will come to seek his approval. He must be strong and ignore her at all costs, perhaps an occasional yawn when she derides him. He should avoid looking at her, if possible. She'll crack.
